Tasks and responsibilities:
  • Contributing to the optimal functioning of the department
  • Improving productivity and efficiency
  • Making proposals for changes regarding the execution of tasks, methods, and procedures to enhance service delivery and increase customer satisfaction
  • Minimizing errors
  • Reducing lead times
  • Communicating effectively within and outside the department
  • Assisting in implementing personnel policies
  • Achieving the department's planning goals
  • Reporting to the Supervisor
  • Taking on various tasks in the Supervisor's absence
  • Contributing proactively to continuous improvement methodologies
Profile:
  • MBO work and thinking level
  • Good knowledge of logistics organization
  • Experience managing warehouse employees
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (preferably PKMS)
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Experience with logistics processes
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • Experience implementing ISO 9001 quality procedures
  • Flexible, stress-resistant, willing to work overtime during and outside the season
  • Improvement-oriented team player with a strong sense of business ethics
