Your Role as a Construction Project Superintendent

As a full-time Construction Project Superintendent at RQ Construction, LLC, you will be pivotal in project planning and overseeing all aspects to ensure seamless progress at US Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Working closely with the Project Manager, your duties will include technical field leadership, coaching and training assistant superintendents, foremen, and trade personnel. Requirements for this Construction Superintendent Position

• A high school diploma or GED is the minimum formal education required.
• College courses in construction management, engineering, etc., are preferred.
• At least five years of experience as a superintendent on large projects, including scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production, is required.
• Ten or more years (or equivalent) of field or trade work experience in the construction industry is highly desirable; experience in government, military, or large commercial construction is a plus. Experience in the design-build industry is beneficial.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) is required; training can be provided.
• Familiarity with software such as Primavera 3/6, Oracle, BIM, Revit is preferred; training can be provided.
• Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS are required; training can be provided.
• LEED GA Credential is desirable.
