Join the forefront of energy transition with E.ON's Digital Technology organization, as part of our in-house consulting, Expert Services. Collaborate closely with our business units to provide pivotal services that accelerate E.ON's Digital Transformation strategy. Be part of a diverse team of over 500 Expert Services consultants, leading the green transition with digital innovation.
The Team – Your Impact
Contribute to meaningful work on socially relevant topics within our international team of over 130 data scientists and engineers. Consult stakeholders on technical matters, implement state-of-the-art machine learning solutions, and leverage methodologies like NLP, computer vision, forecasting, and optimization across various applications using platforms like Azure, AWS, Databricks, and OpenAI.
Your Role – Responsibilities
- Drive new Data & AI initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders, translating challenges into technical requirements.
- Design and deliver scalable data and AI solutions across all E.ON countries.
- Own technical projects, ensuring high data and code quality, and that solutions meet requirements.
- Maintain stability and quality through agile practices, peer reviews, and feedback.
- Evaluate emerging data technologies for integrating machine learning solutions into cloud environments.
- Develop reusable AI models to improve efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
- Stay updated with latest trends in data science and AI to foster innovation.
Your Profile – Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive experience as a Data Scientist with a degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong consulting and communication skills, capable of translating business challenges into data strategies.
- Hands-on coding experience with large datasets, time series analysis, NLP models in Python, and ML tools like scikit-learn, XGBoost, deep learning frameworks.
- Experience deploying models and building pipelines on Spark/Databricks and Azure ML.
- Passion for scientific inquiry, problem-solving, and delivering practical solutions.
- Experience with end-to-end data pipelines, especially in cloud environments like Azure.
- Comfortable with Git, CI/CD workflows, and familiar with Azure DevOps; visualization tools like Streamlit or PowerBI are a plus.
- Fluent in English and German.
