Operations Leadership Trainee (m/f/d)

In the span of 18 to 24 months, during your rotation in our Operations Leadership Program, you will gain valuable insights into multiple departments within Givaudan's operational functions. Through hands-on training and project management opportunities, you will enhance both your soft and hard skills. This program is ideal for graduates with some professional experience who are eager to apply their core technical and project management skills in a dynamic, people-focused manufacturing setting. You will report directly to the Head of Operations, who will be your mentor throughout the program.

This program includes the following core deliverables:

  • Functional Rotations (18-24 months): Associates will be assigned to different rotations to understand all areas critical to the Operations function. Each rotation will have a Departmental Sponsor / Learning Leader overseeing your work and training in areas such as Production, Plant Maintenance, Engineering, Quality Control, and Process Technology.
  • Project Management: Associates will be given technical and continuous improvement projects to manage or participate in throughout the program.
  • Leadership Development: Associates will develop people leadership skills and manage daily operational efforts within their departments, transitioning into leadership roles within Givaudan.

Your professional profile includes:

  • University degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, such as pharma or food industry.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
  • Hands-on approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean / Continuous Improvement (CI).
  • Business fluency in German and English.
