The Customer Success Manager role at Boomi is at the intersection of customer advocacy and technical solutions.
In this role, you will engage with IT leaders and technical teams to guide them through the successful implementation, optimization, and continuous adoption of Boomi's Enterprise platform. You need to be well-versed in complex system architectures, cloud integrations, automation, data architecture, and API management, enabling you to offer advanced, data-driven insights to your customers.
Your technical acumen, combined with strong business understanding, will ensure customers derive long-term value and achieve their strategic transformation goals.
What you'll do:
- Outcome-Focused Engagement: Collaborate with customers to develop a mutual success plan based on Boomi's delivery methodology, key milestones, and aligning Boomi's solutions with actionable success metrics and business goals.
- Continuous Platform Adoption: Accelerate business value for customers and partners by driving a structured onboarding and adoption plan that delivers timely production launches and maximizes product utilization.
- Consultative and Strategic Guidance: Lead value-driven engagements by uncovering customer pain points, challenges, and use cases, positioning Boomi as the strategic choice for Integration, Automation, API Management, AI, and Data Management. Provide validated industry, technical, and architectural insights from customer implementations to showcase Boomi's impact.
- Build Champions and Promoters: Continually build promoters and champions by ensuring Boomi remains critical to the customer's organization, navigating complex landscapes, and maintaining strategic relationships with key decision-makers.
- Competitive Positioning: Showcase Boomi's vision, roadmap, platform benefits, and business value to reinforce Boomi as a solution that delivers accelerated outcomes.
- Technical Acumen: Conduct high-level technical deep dives and workshops, helping customers navigate product features, overcome challenges, and adopt new solutions and innovations.
- Provide Data-Driven Insights: Guide customers in recognizing areas for improvement, enabling informed decision-making and continuous optimization.
- Portfolio Health & Renewal Management: Manage portfolio health proactively, forecast renewals accurately, and collaborate cross-functionally to mitigate risks. Engage with CXOs to reinforce value and align with strategic priorities.
- Triaging and Escalation Management: Manage escalations effectively, assess impacts, translate issues into action items, and coordinate solutions to ensure timely resolution.
- Deliver Business Reviews and Value Assessments: Conduct regular reviews to showcase achievements, gather insights, and develop joint success plans aligned with customer strategies.
The Experience you bring:
- 25+ years in technical roles such as Customer Success Manager, Solution Architect, Consultant, Systems Engineer, or Technical Account Manager, focusing on enterprise integration in SaaS or related industries.
- Proficiency in English and German.
- Ability to proactively identify competitor influence within accounts.
- Strong data acumen for interpreting platform features, capabilities, and usage data.
- Proven experience leading enterprise digital transformation initiatives, including data integration and automation projects.
- Engagement skills with CXOs and technical stakeholders on topics like TCO, roadmaps, and architecture.
- Stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Capability to understand and address complex technical challenges and translate them into business value.
Bonus Points if you have:
- Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Technology Certifications: Developer or Architecture Certification in Middleware, iPaaS, Cloud Native, or API Management Platforms.
- Knowledge of iPaaS, API, Data Management, and Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Complete Boomi Developer, Architect, and Administrator certifications within the first two months of employment.
