Position Summary :

The (Snr.) Business Development Manager is responsible for specifying, planning, and growing new products and solutions in the Energy Storage segment. This role is key in formulating innovative product solutions and building productive, sustainable relationships with external and internal partners (suppliers and customers) to ensure successful business expansion.

Responsibilities :

  1. Collect and understand customer needs, market trends, and input from organizational leadership to align product strategy and roadmap in the Energy Storage market segment.
  2. Identify opportunities, prepare proposals for RFPs, manage budgeting and pricing, negotiate contract terms, and conduct post-bid analysis.
  3. Develop and engage early adopter customers in testing and launching new Energy Storage products and solutions.
  4. Conduct feasibility studies and develop business plans for product or service improvements, customization, re-modeling, and new product development.
  5. Assess operational issues related to competitiveness, stay updated on trends, innovations, and pricing, and monitor internal and external developments to identify new markets.
  6. Coordinate with internal development and delivery teams or external suppliers to ensure product consistency and schedule adherence. Participate in product design reviews to assess quality.
  7. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to manage product launch processes.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Energy Storage, Wind, and Solar industries.
  • Proven track record in business development.
  • Decisive with product guidelines, purpose, and follow-through.
  • Understanding of financial reports, budgets, and product expenditures.
  • Entrepreneurial experience in sales.
  • Proactive, competitive, and driven personality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational, strategic, planning, and implementation skills.
