We are seeking a Field Customer Support Specialist to join our EMEA Regional Team, focusing primarily on Germany, to strengthen DCI's market leadership across the EU, Middle East, and Africa. You will serve as the key HDD locating system expert for our customers in the field.
Responsibilities
- Partner with dealers and distributors to expand the customer base within your territory.
- Influence customer loyalty through:
- Providing industry-leading product and job site support
- Educating customers on effective product applications
- Helping customers maximize profits with DCI equipment for job site efficiency
- Maximizing benefits from DCI tools and features
Build lasting customer relationships as a trusted authority in HDD locating technologies.
Provide product and application support by handling customer inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
Participate in industry trade shows and association events as scheduled.
Qualifications
- Several years of HDD job site experience, ideally 5-9 years in the industry.
- Strong background in drilling and direct exposure to directional drilling operations.
- Preferred: Degree or vocational certification.
- Familiarity with drilling machinery and equipment such as mud motors, bent subs, and ground engaging tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of bore planning and proficiency in drilling software and survey data interpretation is desirable.
Candidate Attributes
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and adaptable.
- Passionate about HDD and continuous improvement.
- Reliable and safety-conscious.
- Knowledge of competitor equipment advantages and disadvantages.
- Bonus: Experience with heavy civil construction or SaaS.
