Active Suspension System Integration Expert

Intelligent Chassis Engineer

Li Auto is seeking a talented engineer passionate about advancing vehicle chassis technology, particularly in intelligent wire-controlled systems, to join our Germany R&D team supporting headquarters in China. This role focuses on cutting-edge chassis technologies such as wire-controlled braking, steering, and fully active suspension systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop technical plans for fully active suspension systems, including system integration, matching, function definition, and standard documentation.
2. Design system architecture, perform hardware sizing, and review components like active dampers and motor pump units.
3. Define product specifications for suspension components, collaborate with suppliers for design optimization, and ensure standards are met.
4. Develop testing protocols, verify parts, track issues during development and vehicle assembly, and analyze performance, NVH, and durability problems.
5. Explore new technologies in active suspension systems, introduce innovative concepts, and optimize system design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or higher degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or related fields.
• Over 10 years of experience in fully active suspension systems development.
• Deep understanding of suspension system principles, design, and development, with the ability to independently deliver complete solutions.
• Knowledge of mainstream active suspension technologies, cost reduction strategies, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and CATIA.
• Strong issue detection, root cause analysis, and system performance evaluation skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
