We support various partners from the automotive and railway industry in recruiting personnel. For one of our clients from Sulzbach we are currently looking for a permanent employee for the following position:

Business Development Manager Energy Storage Systems (m / f / d)

General conditions:

  • Company: Energy storage (Battery)
  • Employees: approx. 36,000
  • Scope: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify growth opportunities in the residential battery, Small C&I & Solar system sector.
  • Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to shape go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market presence and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify, develop and manage partnerships with distributors and installers for generating sales revenue.
  • Present solutions to potential customers, especially for B2B customers (Energy Providers, Inverter Companies, etc.).
  • Build and nurture relationships with utility companies, energy service providers, and large installers.
  • Work closely with engineering and product development teams to provide customer feedback and ensure product offerings align with market needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in the renewable energy sector.
  • University degree in economics or engineering or a comparable qualification.
  • Proven record of delivering sales revenue according to pre-defined sales targets.
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, and presentation.
  • Deep knowledge of Li-Ion batteries, inverters, PV systems, and a deep technical background.
  • Professional, highly motivated individual with a strong results-oriented work ethic.
  • Comfortable working beyond normal office hours as required to meet customer expectations; ability to travel extensively throughout EU countries.
  • English is mandatory, and other European languages would be a plus.
