Job Description:
This position is contingent on contract award.
Soldier Medical Devices (SMD), Force Integration Division (FID), provides medical materiel support to all Army components, facilitating healthcare and medical readiness through procurement, assembly, distribution of medical equipment, and management of medical materiel sets, kits, outfits (SKOs). The role includes disassembly of equipment, managing excess materiel, providing disposition instructions, inventory management, and technical assistance for sustainment operations, including training on Army logistics systems.
The Logistics II Materiel Fielding personnel will ensure efficient planning, coordination, and execution of material fielding operations, supporting troop readiness and operational missions. Responsibilities include data analysis, supply chain optimization, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support PEOS, PM SMD Fielding Missions.
- Plan data and reports for specific tasks.
- Execute fielding missions in compliance with guidance.
- Manage post-fielding requirements.
- Provide status reports on work planned, completed, and analyzed.
- Use Army Automation Systems for data entry and updates.
- Prepare Pre-Fielding Analysis Reports.
- Draft RFIs, MONs, and MFAs.
- Participate in meetings, briefings, and site surveys.
- Assist with materiel de-processing, staging, and inventory.
- Execute on-site materiel transfer and documentation.
- Confirm receipt and inspect materiel for transit damage.
- Report discrepancies and damages, and handle defective materiel.
- Provide documentation to relevant officers for receipt/transfer.
- Prepare and deliver After Action Reports.
- Travel as required.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements/Certifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Project, Access.
- Experience with TEWLS, LOGICOL, AESIP, GCSS-A, LMI-DST, M3PT systems is desired.
- Experience as a Medical Service Corps Officer or Senior Medical NCO with logistics background preferred.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent communication and data entry skills.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Work environment includes office and outdoor settings with environmental exposure.
- Sitting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to navigate stairs safely.
Other Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- US citizenship.
- Valid US Passport with at least 18 months remaining.
Additional Information
Pay range varies based on experience and benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, paid time off, and bonuses. Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000.
