You will undergo a tailored internal training program designed to support your path to becoming a Signalmechaniker:in. During this training, you will develop your skills and acquire extensive knowledge for your new role.

Starting as soon as possible, we are looking for you as a Signalmechaniker:in (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG in Gelnhausen. Within the qualification, you will initially work as a skilled worker in the field of signaling and safety technology. Over the first 18 months, you will go through several development stages towards the target position of Signalmechaniker:in. Beyond that, you can continue to develop professionally.

During your qualification, you will undertake the following activities:

• You will be responsible for maintaining a variety of systems in signaling and safety technology, focusing on inspecting, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components, e.g., signals, switches, level crossings.
• You will use modern measuring devices to assess and evaluate the condition of systems and be responsible for technical documentation.
• You will typically perform your regional tasks in a team, independently and reliably.
• Your work begins and ends daily at your central base in Gelnhausen.
• You will participate in our internal training program, attend regular further training sessions, and continuously learn new skills.

Your profile:

• You have a successfully completed electrical engineering apprenticeship, e.g., as an electrician, mechatronics technician, industrial electrical specialist, or automation technician.
• After comprehensive onboarding, you are ready to participate in rotating on-call duty (deployment every 4-5 weeks).
• You do not mind working outdoors, as many of our systems are located in track areas.
• You are reliable, team-oriented, and flexible.
• You have good German language skills (minimum B2 level with proof) and a valid Class B driver's license.
