SAP BTP Integration Consultant (m / f / d)

Our team in Essen currently has an opening for an SAP BTP Integration Consultant (m / f / d).

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in and drive the development, rollout, and operation of Brenntag’s global integration platform based on SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Work closely with our business units, delivery teams, and external partners to provide tailored integration solutions for our global clients in a timely manner.
• Consult and support internal and external partners on data and service integration challenges.
• Design and develop specific integration solutions (e.g., data extraction, ingestion, and provisioning services).
• Plan, drive, and support implementation and rollout projects.

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Information Systems.
• At least five years of experience as a professional developer and consultant, preferably with a focus on process integration.
• Strong knowledge of interface designs, integration patterns, cloud technologies, and solutions (e.g., SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, SAP Cloud SDK, Node.js / TypeScript, OData, IAM, OAuth, API Management, Event Streaming / Kafka, Cloud Foundry, Azure DevOps, UI5).
• Strong object-oriented implementation skills in an agile environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical skills, and architecture competence.
• Experience managing complex technical environments (SAP and non-SAP experience is a plus).
• Excellent service orientation, communication, and intercultural skills.
• Experience working in an international project environment.
