The Senior DevOps Engineer at Mondia Group will play a pivotal role in defining, testing, implementing, and monitoring DevOps processes. You will primarily work with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with cloud engineering and development teams to create effective CI/CD implementations, configuring and maintaining them.
2. Proactively monitor and resolve issues in the development lifecycle.
3. Support Senior Software/System Engineers in integrating, configuring, deploying, and managing cloud services (e.g., IAM, networking, logging, OS, Containers).
4. Ensure compliance with IT security standards and industry best practices.
5. Assist in release management of new software into the production environment.
6. Troubleshoot security-related issues and support incident management.
7. Implement and support Continuous Integration and Deployment pipelines.
8. Maintain tools supporting SCM & Release Management, including Source Control, CI, and Change Management.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable features that enhance developer productivity, monitoring, and self-healing.
10. Share common capabilities across teams to ensure platform availability and performance, aiming for 99.9% SLA.
11. Support operations using DevOps, Continuous Delivery, and ITIL concepts.
12. Participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
• Expert-level AWS skills with strong networking knowledge (VPC, Route53, WAF, etc.).
• Experience with at least two cloud platforms (AWS required; Azure/GCP optional).
• Hands-on experience with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch—setup, scaling, indexing, and visualization.
• Proficiency in monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience, especially using TypeScript with AWS CDK.
• Familiarity with microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes, AWS ECS), and Java/Spring.
• Advanced Linux knowledge and scripting skills (TypeScript, Java, Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience working with Agile teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong automation and problem-solving skills.
• AWS certifications are preferred; security certifications (CISSP, CISA, OSCP) are a plus.
