Position Summary:

As an SDV Software Systems Architect for Ethernet, you will guide the software integration of in-vehicle Ethernet technologies, ensuring they are ready for the software-defined vehicle era. You will collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and OEMs/Tier-1s to define, architect, and deliver SDV-ready features across various protocols, stacks, and platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define how our Ethernet connectivity technologies (10BASE-T1S, 10/100/1000 Ethernet, etc.) integrate into SDV software stacks
• Interface with OEMs/Tier1s to capture and refine SDV-related requirements for Ethernet integration, software stack compatibility, and lifecycle support
• Select and guide implementation of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) protocols in accordance with OEM platform architecture and technology requirements
• Develop comprehensive software architecture specifications and interface definitions, and provide ongoing guidance to the software implementation team to ensure alignment with these specifications
• Define the SDV feature roadmap for Ethernet connectivity (e.g., middleware features, SDKs, OTA)
• Work with Marketing to align technical strategy with go-to-market strategy and identify monetizable differentiators
• Stay current with industry groups (e.g., COVESA, SOAFEE, AUTOSAR, Eclipse SDV) to track standards and framework evolution
  
  

Key Qualifications:

• 7–10+ years in embedded systems, vehicle software, or automotive systems architecture
• Expertise in Ethernet-based connectivity technologies (e.g., 10BASE-T1S, 10/100/1000 Ethernet) and their integration into SDV software stacks
• Solid knowledge of SDV platform technologies and standards
• Familiarity with ISO 26262/21434, cybersecurity best practices, and OTA workflows
• Able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively across functional groups and to lead discussions with customers
• Preferred: Experience working with/for an OEM or Tier1 to formulate and align system-level software and integration requirements
