Responsibilities as Automation Engineer (m/f/d) – Siemens TIA Portal | Bioreactor Technology:Our joint client is a global leader in life science and bioprocessing technologies. This project focuses on the development of automation products for bioreactor technologies, requiring robust, sustainable software solutions built on the Siemens automation platform.
Scope of Work- Capture and analyze functional and technical requirements for automation solutions
- Design and prototype sustainable software systems using Siemens TIA Portal (Structured Control Language - SCL)
- Develop clean, maintainable, and performance-optimized code within hardware memory constraints
- Implement automated unit and regression testing
- Document design decisions, functionality, and quality assurance measures
- Validate software on the target hardware
Experience and Qualifications:Required Skills & Experience- Proven experience with Siemens TIA Portal in automation projects
- Understanding of regulated environments (GAMP, GxP) is a plus
- Strong skills in software validation, testing, and documentation
- Familiarity with modern development practices (CI/CD, version control, DevOps pipelines)
- Structured, independent working style with excellent communication in English
Technical Environment / Tools- Siemens TIA Portal, SCL (Structured Control Language)
- GAMP, GxP-compliance, ISA-88 standards
- Git, Azure DevOps
- CI/CD pipelines, YAML
