Senior Supplier Quality Engineer – AV Platforms (m/w/d)

Mobileye is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Autonomous Vehicle (AV) group, focusing on ensuring product quality at our supplier’s production lines. We are developing the next generation of autonomous driving products for mass production, targeting both consumer and commercial markets. In this role, you will ensure product quality, meet automotive standards, drive process improvements, and resolve supply chain issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support new product launches and supplier readiness.
2. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for supplier issues.
3. Lead supplier approval assessments and risk evaluations.
4. Collaborate with suppliers on process improvements and cost optimization.
5. Monitor supplier KPIs: PPM, issue resolution time, warranty, and cost recovery.
6. Promote continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PFMEA, MSA, Poka-Yoke).
7. Report on quality performance and escalate unresolved issues.
8. Provide quality training and maintain inspection documentation.
9. Support supplier validation audits and APQP activities.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

1. 5+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably automotive.
2. Proven expertise in quality assurance and supplier development.
3. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
4. Deep knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and IATF 16949 standards.
5. Proficiency in metrology, inspection techniques, and interpreting engineering drawings.
6. Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting abilities.
8. Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable to dynamic environments.
9. Proficient in written and verbal communication in German & English.
