Job description

Tasks

1. Ensuring product quality through technical inspections during aircraft production
2. Release of components for the production process including construction deviation management
3. Processing of non-conformities, including deadline tracking, closure and fault rectification
4. Technical instructions and supervision of authorised inspection personnel in quality assurance
5. Training and induction of new authorised inspectors and acceptance of work samples
6. Analysing and visualising quality problems with Practical Problem Solving (PPS)
7. Carrying out trouble shooting for quick and sustainable troubleshooting
8. Close cooperation with production and engineering to ensure quality standards

Requirements

1. Successfully completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or comparable technical training with many years of professional experience
2. Several years of professional experience in the fields of aerospace and quality assurance
3. Good knowledge of lean management
4. In-depth application knowledge of SAP required and knowledge of Google Workspace desirable
5. Business fluent German (at least C1 level) and advanced English language skills (at least B2 level)
6. Valid unrestricted work permit for the European Union is required
