Solutions Driven is supporting an international engineering leader in the search for an experienced Service Sales Engineer with a strong background in Field-Erected Cooling Towers .

This role is ideal for a proactive professional with both technical and commercial acumen, eager to drive service growth through tailored client solutions, technical assessments, and aftersales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare customized proposals for revamping, maintenance, and spare parts supply of engineered cooling systems, using proprietary configuration and pricing tools.
  • Conduct detailed site inspections and technical audits to assess performance and recommend corrective or upgrade actions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop revamp strategies aligned with customer needs and plant performance objectives.
  • Manage the full sales cycle of service proposals – from technical definition to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Support post-sale execution by ensuring alignment between client expectations and project delivery.
  • Foster long-term client relationships through responsive communication and reliable support.

Requirements :

  • Experience in field-erected cooling towers or engineered cooling systems, with an understanding of site conditions, construction, and performance optimization.
  • A flexible and adaptive mindset, able to manage priorities in a dynamic, multinational environment.
  • Availability to travel locally and internationally, sometimes on short notice.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand technical challenges and translate them into commercial opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and value delivery.
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken); other European languages are a plus.

Candidate Profile :

  • Degree in Mechanical, Energy, or Aerospace Engineering (or related disciplines).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical-commercial role within cooling systems, power plants, or industrial process sectors such as oil & gas, steel, or chemical.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills.
