We’re working with one of Europe’s most exciting FinTech’s, a company on a mission to revolutionise financial decision-making for startups and scaleups. They’re not building dashboards, tools, or chatbots. They’re building something entirely new. It’s autonomous, intelligent, and built to help companies make critical financial decisions.

Right now, they’re gearing up for a major launch and looking to bring in a Senior AI Engineer to help scale and shape the core AI systems at the heart of it all.

You’ll be joining a high-impact, product-first team working at the cutting edge of AI and finance. Your focus? Taking a state-of-the-art, multi-agent AI system and making it smarter, more autonomous, and more trustworthy. From memory systems and goal-setting frameworks to prompt optimisation and RAG pipelines, this is real-world AI being deployed to solve real business problems.

What you’ll be doing:

• Evolve and enhance autonomous AI agents with real-world financial tasks
• Design memory and planning systems to drive intelligent behaviour
• Implement evaluation frameworks to ensure safe, reliable output
• Optimise LLM orchestration and prompt engineering for nuanced finance scenarios
• Build robust tooling, pipelines and architecture that scale
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to ship fast and iterate faster
• Fine-tune models for domain-specific tasks and performance

What you’ll bring:

• 2+ years building and deploying AI agent systems
• 5+ years in software development, ideally with Python + TypeScript
• Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, and LLM tools like LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Strong grasp of memory systems, goal-driven agents, and context management
• Track record of taking AI into production (not just prototyping)

Bonus points for:

• Fintech experience or familiarity with the financial domain
• Background in autonomous agents, tool use, or agent monitoring
• Experience fine-tuning models and evaluating domain-specific performance
• Interest or experience in RL or agent training loops
