As the Internet of Things (IoT) market continues to grow, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a key role in driving growth for Cumulocity IoT – a leading IoT platform. We seek ambitious, enthusiastic, sharp, and tenacious self-starters to join our Sales Development team and help us reach new heights! Join us to work with the leading IoT platform.

Essential Functions

  1. Partner with Sales & Marketing to develop and execute plans for prospecting targeted accounts and identifying new customers for Cumulocity IoT.
  2. Uncover and understand business priorities, needs, and pains to position Cumulocity IoT as a compelling solution.
  3. Manage, monitor, and maintain accurate activity logs in our CRM system, utilizing our sales tools effectively.
  4. Provide feedback to marketing, product teams, and colleagues based on prospect interactions to improve programs.
  5. Maintain a self-starting attitude with a strong desire to learn, grow, and succeed.
  6. Show interest in IoT and new technology, acting as a trusted advisor to customers.
  7. Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  8. Be fluent in both English and German to effectively reach out to contacts and build relationships.
  9. Possess strong written and oral communication skills to clearly articulate the value of Cumulocity IoT with passion and conviction.
  10. Display a team-player mindset and eagerness to improve internal processes.
  11. Build meaningful relationships with prospects, customers, and colleagues.
  12. Have a proven track record of success in prospecting and overcoming obstacles.
