The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analyst (m/w/d) with a strong engineering background to join our Corporate DACH Data Team. This role will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making across key functions like Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and Finance or Sales&Commerce, empowering our DACH business with advanced reporting, visualization solutions, and supporting the rollout of new Zone and Global products. This role requires deep understanding of Supply Chain or Sales&Commerce data and processes.

Your Tasks

  • Business Expertise: Leverage your existing Supply Chain or Sales&Commerce experience, including a strong understanding of key subareas, along with expertise in business processes, requirements, tools, systems, and data sources (e.g., SAP, FutureMaster, Manhattan). Understand and analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Create, automate, maintain, and enhance reports, scorecards, and dashboards using SQL-based BI and planning tools (e.g., Power BI). Take ownership of existing Supply Chain or Sales&Commerce reports, ensuring their accuracy and relevance. Prepare ad-hoc reports to address daily business inquiries. Clearly communicate findings through effective visualizations, written reports, and presentations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with a dedicated division or defined group of stakeholders to develop tailored solutions that meet specific needs and generate value for teams and the organization.
  • Data Roadmap & Product Rollout: Contribute to the development and execution of the DACH data roadmap. Actively participate in the rollout of Zone and Global data products, including process development and incident management. Specifically, work with the team on the gap analysis between existing reports and new Zone/Global products. Support the integration of these products within the Corporate Data Team.
  • Data Engineering expertise: Select, clean, maintain, and transform data from diverse sources.
  • Engineering Support: Utilize your engineering skills to build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality and efficient processing. Contribute to the design and development of database structures and models, optimizing data accessibility and usability.
  • Knowledge Sharing & Mentorship: Continuously learn and share knowledge and experiences with data team colleagues and other interested parties. Act as a data ambassador, educating the division/organization about the value of data through presentations, trainings, and one-on-one interactions.

Your Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration).
  • Experience: 2-4 years of proven experience in data analysis within a Supply Chain or Sales&Commerce environment. Demonstrable experience working with Supply Chain or Sales&Commerce data and reporting. Experience with data engineering principles and practices is a strong plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Programming Languages: Proficiency in SQL and Python (or similar scripting language). Experience with MDX and DAX is a plus.
    • Tech Stack: Practical experience with GCP and the Microsoft BI stack (Power Query, Power Automate, Excel). Experience with BigQuery is highly desirable.
    • Data Visualization: Strong visual design skills for creating information-rich, easy-to-understand reports using tools like Power BI or Looker.
    • Database Knowledge: Good understanding of relational and non-relational database models.
  • Functional Skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • High degree of customer focus and a hands-on mentality.
    • Fundamental project management skills, including project planning, task prioritization, and communication.
    • Effective stakeholder management skills.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English. German language skills are highly advantageous.
If you are a data-driven individual with a passion for Supply Chain or Sales&Commerce optimization and a desire to contribute to a dynamic international environment, we encourage you to apply!
