What to expect:

For our team in Ingolstadt, we are currently looking for energetic support in the area of occupant protection. Within the scope of this job, the following tasks await you:

1. Independent development of load case specific calculation models
2. Execution of crash tests and interpretation of the results
3. Development of optimization proposals for restraint systems in consultation with the team
4. Creation of presentations, documentation, and communication of results in customer committees
5. Coordination with colleagues from the body and interior development departments

What you bring along:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification with specialization in simulation and FEM analysis
2. 3+ years of simulation and development experience in the field of occupant safety
3. Expertise in FEM tools and relevant simulation software such as ANSA, LS-DYNA, or PAM-CRASH
4. Independent and structured working style, analytical thinking, and reliability
5. High level of commitment, communication skills, and service mindset
6. Fluent in German and English
