Business Analyst (m / f / d) - Asset Owner Product Development

Job Purpose / Role

Data is a key asset and driver of our success in setting market benchmarks, enhancing customer relationships, and maintaining profitability. As a Business Analyst (m / f / d), you will collaborate with data experts to deliver impactful business insights for Allianz Group's Investment Management, focusing on investment data and analytics.

You will be part of the Asset Owner Product Development team, shaping the future of Investment Data within Allianz Group. Your role involves enhancing our Oracle database with cloud-based services, engaging with new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be an expert in solution design for our Allianz Asset Owner
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Analyze and improve processes and services
  • Contribute to and manage internal and external projects
  • Coordinate between clients, project teams, and end users
  • Plan, oversee, and implement client changes
  • Provide 3rd level support to operations colleagues

Key Requirements / Skills / Experience

  • University degree in data science, mathematics, physics, or related field
  • Strong affinity for working with data
  • Experience with SQL databases and PowerBI
  • Analytical skills with an agile mindset
  • Project management skills are a plus
  • Knowledge of capital markets, finance, or investment management is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
