Accountant (Munich)

The Mouser Electronics EMEA Finance Team is in search of an engaged and competent candidate for the position of

EMEA Accountant (f/m/d)
permanent contract, full-time, 40hrs

As a member of the EMEA Accounting Team you perform several accounting functions including preparation of journal entries, maintenance of general ledger, group reporting, AP and other daily processing functions.

Primary responsibilities:

• Update and maintain the general ledger for our EMEA legal entities at a high standard.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting to the headquarters in the US according to US-GAAP rules.
• Prepare account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare accounts and reports for statutory accounts.
• Support the preparation of different tax declarations and statutory reports.
• First point of contact for Mouser’s local CPA’s.
• Assist the Finance Manager on local statutory compliance obligations.
• Fulfill Mouser’s policies and procedures as well as statutory rules.
  

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Business Administration (specialized in Finance / Accounting) or equivalent combination of education and general corporate accounting experience in EMEA.
• Experience in international accounting practices (US-GAAP).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in financial IT systems, preferably Oracle and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
