Our cloud platform team is focused on creating corporate-wide solutions that will drive the next generation of B. Braun’s digital products and connected devices. The technologies and products we develop create new treatment possibilities, enable sharing of clinical experience, and result in better patient care.

For the B. Braun New Ventures Team in Freiburg, we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer – Cloud Applications (f/m/d).

Duties and Responsibilities

• You work in an Agile software development environment, as a part of an interdisciplinary project team

• You discover and formulate test specifications based on product requirements as well as on normative and regulatory requirements

• You develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts of various cloud applications to verify software functionality, performance and reliability, on component, integration and system levels

• You work closely with Development and DevSecOps teams to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery pipelines

• You define test environments and test strategies for cloud services connecting large number of IOT devices

• You are responsible for managing and execution of test infrastructure

• You review requirements for testability, proactively raise the concerns and suggest improvements

• You write test plans and test reports as part of the technical documentation

• You perform test automation code reviews, prepare test plans and test reports

• You diagnose defects and provide effective feedback

Professional competencies

• You have strong technical background on setting up and extending the test automation framework (preferably Playwright) for a project, developing and executing scripted test cases

• You have strong experience in automating API and GUI testing

• You have experience with Automation Test Reporting tools (e.g. Allure Reports)

• You have experience in developing Test Plans and Reports

• You have experience in CI/CD and DevOps processes (preferably GitHub), particularly integrating TCs into the pipeline

• You have technical background on Cloud solutions, preferably have experience with Azure Cloud

• You have knowledge on Test Levels, Test Types and Software Test Techniques

• You set high standards for quality at the same time enjoy finishing tasks on time

• You are a hands-on doer, a self-starter, a strong team player and a continuous learner

• You have enthusiasm for high-tech medical products rounds up your profile
