Your Responsibilities

• Ensure data accuracy through meticulous main and sub-ledger reconciliations, monitoring processing flows, and implementing tailored solutions to keep our accounting data correct.
• Identify and implement improvements for manual and system-based processes, balancing effort and benefit, and proposing concrete steps for enhancement.
• Participate in accounting and reporting system implementations (e.g., SAP), develop well-thought-out concepts, and ensure smooth execution.
• Define and implement control procedures for standards such as SOX and Minimum Standard, document processes thoroughly, and advise management with well-founded recommendations.

Your Profile

• Ideally, a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting/Controlling or a commercial qualification with additional certifications (e.g., Certified Accountant).
• Several years of experience in accounting, reporting, or controlling, preferably within a banking environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of banking accounting and reporting standards (HGB, RechKredV, IFRS) and familiarity with banking-specific accounting software (SAP Bank Analyzer, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW).
• Strong IT affinity, experience in project work, and process/requirements analysis skills.
• The ability to think beyond the horizon and develop sustainable solutions.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
