Underwriting Assistance Casualty & Specialties (General Liability) (m/f/d)

Main tasks

• Support existing customers in collaboration with underwriters in areas such as General Liability, D&O, PI, and Cyber.
• Document insurance policies and supplements within the underwriting and management business.
• Process management, sole underwriting, participation, and indirect business.
• Handle IT processing of contracts, including premium bookings.
• Assist underwriters with portfolio controlling.
• Clarify accounts in case of settlement differences.
• Participate in special tasks and project work.

Your profile - Professional experience, personality, languages, software

• Completed apprenticeship as an insurance salesperson or a comparable qualification, ideally as an insurance specialist or with similar studies.
• Several years of experience in administrative tasks related to contract management of commercial or industrial insurance contracts, preferably in the engineering sector, and in underwriting if applicable.
• Project experience.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
• High motivation, resilience, and flexibility.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and internal systems.
• Fluent in German and English.
