Engineer Main Power Converter System (m/f/d)

Your Tasks
- Model-based design of the main inverter system at component, subsystem, and system levels.
- Development of existing model infrastructure.
- Supporting concept and feasibility studies with modeling.
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with the main converter software development department.
- Specification of main converter systems for wind turbines, including complex functional requirements and test specifications.
- Collaboration with internal and external partners.
Your Qualifications
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience with model-based development using Matlab, Simulink, Simscape.
- Profound knowledge of power electronics, design, and inverter topologies.
- Knowledge of main converter systems, requirements engineering, verification, validation, and standards.
- Experience with industrial converter systems (e.g., ABB, Ingeteam, GE Power Conversion, HopeWind, Siemens, Vertiv, Woodward) is advantageous.
- Good communication skills in English.
