We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Vice President Strategy & Markets to shape the corporate strategy by developing holistic market & technology strategies to help grow sustainably and secure competitive advantages.
A job that matters: your task
- You evaluate and examine the individual business areas of the company, our go-to-market strategies, product roadmaps, supply chain performance, and network strategies with regard to competitiveness and areas for improvement.
- You collect and analyze data from various sources to identify market trends (customer & technology), competitive landscapes and strategies, and customer preferences.
- You create reports and presentations to clearly communicate the results of the internal & external analyses and as a basis to engage with business leaders to derive strategic imperatives from the insights.
- You work closely with various departments to ensure that information is effectively utilized and acted upon.
- You independently drive forward strategic initiatives, engaging senior stakeholders to mature the idea into validated concepts and business cases, and gather approvals from the required committees.
- You monitor the implementation of strategic initiatives and provide strategic support to translate the corporate strategy into detailed implementation plans and future-proof operating models (organization & governance, processes, systems, etc.).
- You act as a trusted advisor and consultant to our Executive Committee by facilitating workshop sessions, providing ad-hoc analyses, competitor benchmarks, insights into best practices, communication materials, deviations reports on key programs / projects, etc.
An experience that matters: your skills
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or similar.
- Min. 6-8 years of professional experience in a major strategy consulting firm, corporate strategy department, ideally in an international context.
- Experience working with data and quantitative analyses.
- Strong analytical skills, structured working style, team spirit, and proactive behavior.
- Excellent presentation and moderation skills with strong communication abilities at all levels.
- Track record of managing complex projects across departments and countries.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Flexibility to travel for business purposes (around 20% of the time).
