Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our key AAA (Ads & Ancillaries) Team. You'll be solving relatable user problems and helping build an outstanding product experience for travelers worldwide during search, comparison, and booking processes. Features will be shipped across all Omio's frontends to monetize user traffic while ensuring superb user experience.
What you will do:
- Create robust solutions with state-of-the-art technologies, building components used across all Omio’s frontends (mobile, desktop, apps).
- Collaborate with your team to test ideas on users, iterate based on results, and improve our product.
- Test new languages, libraries, and frameworks, evaluate their potential, and share best practices to set company standards.
- Build highly reusable frontend components that can be dynamically mounted in any React frontend.
- Apply engineering experience to automate processes and guide team decision-making.

Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in software development, writing clean, effective code, version-controlled, and choosing appropriate tools and paradigms.
- Pragmatic approach to solving complex, multi-domain problems with modular, MVP, value-first, iterative solutions.
- Automator: experience in scripting, automation, deployment, monitoring, and support across stacks.
- Expertise in performance tuning, benchmarking, and stress testing production systems.
- Team player: guiding teammates, planning, delivering high-quality software, and communicating across teams.
