Job Overview

We are seeking skilled desktop Support Engineers to join our team in Burghausen, Germany. We have three (3) freelance/self-employed positions available for backfill and Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) support. These roles are available for immediate start on a 1-year contract.

As an IT Desk Support Engineer, you will provide deskside support, troubleshoot IT issues, and ensure smooth IT operations. This role is ideal for customer-focused professionals with strong technical expertise and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite deskside IT support to end users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Ensure timely resolution of IT incidents while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Assist with the installation and configuration of hardware and software.
  • Document and maintain detailed incident reports in the internal tracking system.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach in all client interactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in deskside or IT support.
  • Fluency in English and German (C1 level).
  • Valid work permit for Germany (mandatory).
  • Strong expertise in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle client interactions professionally and effectively.
