About the Job:
Qt’s comprehensive cross-platform tools empower development teams in Aerospace & Defense to meet software requirements with high performance, compatibility, reliability, and scalability. We work with leading customers to help them create outstanding products that meet high industry standards of quality, safety, and security, including certification if necessary.
We are seeking an Industry Segment Lead to help us capture the market in Aerospace & Defense use cases. As a business owner, you will grow our industry footprint, from strategy to go-to-market execution, collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams.
You will lead our Aerospace & Defense offerings and guide product roadmaps based on customer needs, business feedback, and the competitive landscape. We seek an experienced, data-driven leader who is enthusiastic about impacting our business. Success will be measured by new logo acquisition, existing customer growth, and market visibility. This position can be based in Berlin or Paris.
You will:
- Own Qt Group’s thought leadership in Aerospace & Defense segments through industry-specific content, demos, reference implementations, keynotes, webinars, and sales collateral.
- Enhance our value creation by advising customers in developing successful products.
- Define and steer our positioning, value propositions, and Ideal Customer Profiles in Aerospace & Defense segments.
- Shape our product mix and roadmaps based on industry-specific needs.
- Collaborate closely with regional sales to guide target account definitions and contribute to key sales opportunities.
- Work with marketing teams on ABM strategies, industry messaging, and campaigns.
- Expand our ecosystem via industry associations and partnerships.
About You:
- Solid experience and networks in Aerospace and/or Defense industries.
- Proven business development experience in the software industry.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing processes.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills to build relationships with partners and clients.
- Analytical mindset with experience in market and competitor analysis.
- Ability to work autonomously and in cross-functional teams, managing multiple priorities.
- Track record in thought leadership, content creation, and keynote presentations.
- Proactive and innovative in identifying new business opportunities.
- Willingness to travel globally.
