Job Description: System Engineer for Automotive Electronics

Location: Kitzingen, Germany

Join our development team for Software Defined Vehicles. We develop zonal control units for our customers, enabling new, revolutionary on-board network systems based on zonal architectures. Zonal control units are the heart and nervous system of future vehicles and are key enablers for Software Defined Vehicles.

Location: Bayern - Kitzingen

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Develop product concepts and specifications in the form of system requirements.
  2. Assess customer requirements related to product and system topics.
  3. Conduct technical discussions with customers and specify system requirements based on customer, legal, and normative requirements.
  4. Develop system architectures and their static, dynamic, functional, and physical views.
  5. Create development-related documents in coordination with internal and external suppliers and customers.
  6. Support safety analyses such as FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, and the creation of functional and technical safety concepts.
  7. Review the implementation of system integration and system tests from a technical perspective.
  8. Identify technical product risks and weaknesses, contribute to solutions, and support improvement measures.
  9. Develop and improve process descriptions, methods, tools, and templates.
  10. Assist in effort estimation, project planning, and in the analysis, evaluation, and creation of patents and protective rights.

Qualifications:

  • Completed engineering degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, or a comparable qualification.
  • Basic knowledge of testing, measurement, and circuit technology.
  • Professional experience in a testing environment.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as TestStand or similar.
  • Knowledge of automotive bus systems (CAN, LIN).
  • Initial experience in vehicle diagnostics (UDS, ODX).
  • Knowledge of programming languages, e.g., C/C++.
