Campaigning Analyst

Key Role:

Provide analytical support to a Combatant Command client, designing and implementing systematic research and analysis programs to inform strategic campaigning and strategy development. Leverage and integrate Combatant Command, external intelligence, research, assessment, wargaming, and analytic activities, products, processes, and opportunities to support client requirements. Conduct analyses, develop products, and coordinate with stakeholders within and outside the Combatant Command. Support client conferences, workshops, and input to Combatant Command and Joint Staff processes. Recommend, develop, and implement client-sponsored analytic activities and integrate client initiatives with other Combatant Command analytic efforts. Apply consulting skills, technical expertise, and knowledge. Work as a detail-oriented self-starter in a fast-paced environment without considerable direction and take initiative to develop, recommend, and implement innovative solutions to complex problems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in research studies, assessments, intelligence analysis, or wargaming supporting the DoD
  • 6+ years of experience with the European or Indo-Pacific theaters
  • 3+ years supporting high-level headquarters staff, including CCMD, Service, Joint Staff, or IC
  • Experience with conducting research, analysis, assessments, and producing client-ready products for the DoD
  • Ability to develop and support innovative solutions aligned with client strategic objectives
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to OCONUS and CONUS locations
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in International Relations, Foreign Policy, Security Studies, or European Affairs

Additional Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with Military Strategy, including NSS, NDS, or NMS, Joint Planning, Strategy Implementation, or Project Management
  • Experience at Service or Theater Command headquarters level
  • Experience facilitating or planning events, conferences, wargames, TTX, or workshops
  • Knowledge of formal DoD staffing and coordination processes
  • Strong self-starter, able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, work independently and in teams, analyze complex data, and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Applicants must undergo a security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
