Vast Range of Tasks

As the Head of Architecture, you will:

  • Define and drive the architecture strategy for EnBW’s trading function, ensuring it is robust, future-proof, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Review current architecture, identify improvements, and modernize the tech stack.
  • Develop high-level technical designs and collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and network teams.
  • Oversee the integration of trading systems, including ETRM platforms like Endur.
  • Lead architectural reviews to meet future needs.
  • Stay updated on industry technologies and trends.

Profile Requirements

  • Proven experience as Solution or Enterprise Architect in a commodity trading environment.
  • Deep knowledge of commodities trading processes.
  • Experience with large-scale programs, ideally greenfield projects.
  • Expertise in trading systems, especially ETRM platforms like Endur.
  • Strong cloud architecture knowledge (Azure, AWS) and messaging patterns (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Familiarity with API stacks, data warehousing, and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and modern tech stacks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
