Your contribution :

Our Digital Marketing & Customer Experience (CX) team is dedicated to positioning VARTA as the leading battery manufacturer by delivering exceptional value to our customers. We aim to strengthen our brand's expertise in the battery industry and empower our customers to thrive with VARTA. We are seeking a dynamic and driven Junior Digital Marketing & CX Professional to join our team.

Key responsibilities :

  1. Support the definition and implementation of the digital marketing strategy for VARTA, focusing on website experience, web conversion points, and search traffic (organic & paid).
  2. Gradually take ownership of planning, managing, and coordinating strategic digital marketing projects as you develop within the role.
  3. Assist the Trade Marketing and Brand & Communication teams with planning and implementing web assets for campaigns, providing input on ideation and technical considerations.
  4. Develop and optimize the user experience for our online presence by defining personas, value propositions, journeys, and experiences for key customer groups using data and input from SMEs.
  5. Coordinate UX and CRO activities, including research, design, testing, and refinement to ensure high-quality user experiences.
  6. Administer an integrated search strategy, including SEO and SEA, to drive high-quality traffic to the website.
  7. Collaborate with the Digital Content Specialist to develop a content strategy based on search data and opportunities.
  8. Manage the web development backlog, prioritizing SME requirements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business value.
  9. Analyze and report on digital marketing performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  10. Coordinate website tracking efforts with the Digital Marketing & CX and IT teams.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX best practices to enhance user experiences.

**Education, skills, and experience :

  • Apprenticeship in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • Previous internship experience in digital marketing, CRM, or customer experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and derive insights.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive learning and problem-solving approach.
  • Familiarity with CMS, CRM platforms, and digital marketing tools is a plus.
  • Passion for digital marketing and customer experience.
  • Fluent in English (business proficiency); additional languages are a plus.
