YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will work independently and proactively to shape and secure our international IT landscape. With a strong focus on strategic security planning, governance, and risk management, you will drive forward key initiatives to ensure resilience and compliance.

1. Develop and refine the global IT security strategy in alignment with business objectives.
2. Lead risk assessments and define mitigation strategies to strengthen cybersecurity posture.
3. Ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions by working closely with legal teams.
4. Design and oversee cybersecurity governance structures, including policies, procedures, and reporting frameworks.
5. Spearhead incident response planning and crisis management strategies to ensure business continuity.
6. Foster a strong security culture by driving executive awareness, leadership engagement, and organizational alignment.
7. Evaluate and select strategic partnerships with cybersecurity vendors and service providers.
8. Monitor emerging threats and technological advancements to proactively adjust security strategies.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on strategic planning and governance.
• Proven experience in leading security initiatives, ideally within a multinational environment.
• In-depth understanding of global cybersecurity regulations and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOC2, EU AI Act, ISO 27001).
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence C-level executives.
• Track record in developing and executing security programs, driving compliance, and managing security budgets.
• Experience in third-party risk management and supply chain security.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and executive leadership.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment while maintaining a strategic perspective.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
