Summary
For the "Submarine Products" division in the Naval business unit, we are looking for a "Project Manager in the Naval area (f/m/d)" at the Oberkochen site at the earliest possible date.

The "Submarine Products" division is responsible for the product management of electro-optronic vision systems, which are used in submarines worldwide. The main tasks include the holistic product responsibility for all electro-optical vision systems and the definition of the product strategy for new products as well as the further development of existing products.

Your Tasks

• Project management of complex electro-optronic vision systems in the maritime environment with a focus on product management & development projects
• Preparation of regular reports and coordination of reviews in accordance with the processes and specifications as well as the implementation of risk management
• Monitoring costs, milestones, deadlines and target achievement during implementation
• Leading interdisciplinary project teams and managing subcontractors where necessary
• Clarification of technical implementations, taking into account alternative approaches (in-house, external development, development partners, cooperation partners)
• Coordination of all system specifications defined in the contracts and close coordination with the product managers
• Coordination of system qualifications and series launches
• Taking on coordination tasks with external stakeholders to fulfill development shifts and offset requirements
• Supporting other projects in their implementation

Willingness to travel internationally is required.

Your Profile

• Completed studies as Master of Science/Diploma in Engineering or comparable
• PMI or similar certification advantageous
• Professional experience in the field of activity as a project manager in the maritime sector, preferably military technology in the international sector
• Very good experience / knowledge in leading interdisciplinary project teams
• Mature planning skills, confident demeanor and ability to work in a team
• Established and results-oriented, structured and cooperative way of working
• Technical enthusiasm, strategic thinking, analytical understanding and ability to deal with conflict
• Very good knowledge of German and English
