About the role

As a Finance Manager, you will play a key role at 7Learnings: You will ensure that our financial processes run smoothly and that we can grow on a solid economic foundation. Working closely with the management team, you will actively shape our financial strategy, keep a constant eye on our figures, and lay the foundation for smart, sustainable decisions. You will bring structure, transparency, and efficiency to our finance processes – and develop them further with us. You will work with a high degree of personal responsibility and actively shape how we take finance at 7Learnings to the next level.


Your mission

  • You will be a strategic sparring partner for our management team and responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • You will prepare regular monthly financial statements and financial analyses in close collaboration with the C-level.
  • You will be responsible for day-to-day accounting and ensure reliable liquidity planning.
  • You will monitor incoming and outgoing payments, create invoices, and handle dunning.
  • You will support the team with internal processes such as travel expense reports and work closely with our tax advisor.
  • You will actively contribute your ideas for optimizing our finance and controlling processes and help to continuously improve structures and procedures.

Your profile

  • You have solid professional experience in accounting and controlling, as well as experience with DATEV.
  • You have excellent knowledge of Google Sheets/Excel.
  • Ideally, you have experience building dashboards with Google Looker Studio and with SQL database queries.
  • You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
  • You think analytically, work in a structured manner, and have a strong affinity for numbers.
  • You are characterized by initiative, a sense of responsibility, and a precise working style.
  • You have strong organizational skills and can set priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • You have intercultural skills and feel comfortable in an international team.
  • For our US expansion, experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
  • Using QuickBooks or similar US tools
  • Coordination of tax advisors/accountants in the US
  • Establishment of international payment and banking structures
  • Support with US legal and tax setup
