Infrastructure Engineer (m / w / d)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Infrastructure Engineer (m / w / d) to join our Global Infrastructure Team.

The person in this position will have an important role in our organization, helping us implement innovative solutions and supporting the existing infrastructure. The Infrastructure Engineer should have hands-on experience in virtual platforms including Hyper-V, virtual environments, Windows / Linux servers, storage, and security.

Responsibilities

• Configuring and maintaining virtual environments
• Troubleshooting complex issues in cooperation with Tier 1 / 2 teams and external support
• Providing guidance and consultancy for infrastructure-related projects
• Ensuring the security and compliance of the virtual environments
• Constantly optimizing the virtual environment
• Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends to make recommendations for improvement

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience working as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge and strong hands-on experience with Hyper-V (VMware is a plus)
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server
• Experience with network and security
• Experience with SQL Server administration
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in writing technical documentation
• Familiar with scripting and automation tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience working in a global team
• Fluent in German and English
