Your role and responsibilities

Are you enthusiastic about the interface between business and law and would you like to use your knowledge in an international environment?In this varied position, you are part of the contract management team in the ELDS/ELSE division. Here you will draft German and English contracts, conduct negotiations and support strategic decisions. You will bring your business legal expertise to bear on exciting sales projects and support project management.Together we will ensure the success of our global business relationships!• Design and review of offers, contracts and order confirmations at home and abroad as well as participation in framework contract agreements in coordination with superiors• Negotiation of legal and commercial conditions, participation in award negotiations and coordination of higher-level issues with decision-makers• Support with sales training on topics such as contract design, financing and export control• Maintenance and updating of sales-relevant databases as well as provision of commercial information, creation of sample contracts• Participation in claim management to defend against claims and enforce own claims from a legal perspective• Management of risk review meetings with the global ABB Group• Analysis of commercial factors, coordination of bank guarantees and support in credit and insurance management

Qualifications for the role

  • Successfully completed degree in business law, law, or comparable areas
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a legal context, ideally in an industrial environment
  • Knowledge of national and international law, as well as public procurement law
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
  • High level of flexibility and negotiating skills in a dynamic environment Environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, good understanding of commercial contexts, high sense of responsibility, willingness to travel and confident demeanor, negotiating skills in challenging situations
