Our cloud platform team creates solutions that drive digital products and connected devices, enabling better patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a platform and software for digital surgery integrating sensors, imaging, and navigation.
  2. Focus on developing concepts and prototypes for surgical applications.
  3. Create well-structured, maintainable software components using modern design approaches.
  4. Collaborate within a scrum team with software developers, architects, engineers, UX specialists, quality engineers, and product owners.
  5. Work directly with surgical users to define technical and application requirements.
  6. Participate in all product development phases, from concept to validation.
  7. Ensure compliance with medical software standards and develop, integrate, and validate software modules.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in medical image analysis or related fields.
  • Initial experience with navigation systems.
  • Beneficial experience with augmented reality, organ/instrument tracking in laparoscopy.
  • Good knowledge of machine learning and AI inference.
  • Development experience in C++ and Python.
  • Initial requirements engineering experience (beneficial).
  • Experience working with clinical users (beneficial).
  • Experience with real-time programming on Linux, ROS2, or distributed systems (beneficial).
  • Familiarity with technologies like C++, Python, Qt, OpenCV, ROS2, GTest/GMock, Git, Azure DevOps, Linux, RT Linux (advantage).
  • Experience in regulated fields (medical, aerospace, automotive) (desirable).
  • Hands-on approach and interdisciplinary networking skills.
  • Innovation mindset and enthusiasm for high-tech medical products.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
