Who We Are
The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of the Product Management are varied. The unit is responsible for all activities relating to the development and industrialization of battery cells. Responsibilities range from the preparation of technology roadmaps and portfolio planning to volume and cycleplan planning and the holistic program management for global battery projects.
Your Role And Key Responsibilities
Being responsible for building up Advanced Product Quality processes, including planning activities
Leading a team
Ensuring product quality throughout the entire product lifecycle by applying a closed-loop approach
Understanding customer needs and defining the project scope during the planning and definition phases
Reviewing DFMEAs, supporting the definition of specifications, and contributing to validation activities during product design and development
Defining manufacturing process flows and supporting the development of PFMEAs during process design and development
Overseeing prototype and pilot builds while coordinating the execution of the final Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) during product and process validation
Implementing feedback loops and driving continuous improvement, including monitoring product field performance in front of the customer
Supporting the launch phase by assessing feedback and ensuring the implementation of effective corrective actions
What You Bring To The Team
Degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering, production technology, materials science, chemistry, physics, or a comparable qualification
Experienced manager with at least 10 years of professional experience, including personnel responsibility
Background in global corporations or large medium-sized enterprises
Proven leadership experience in project-based roles
Skilled in leading and contributing constructively within heterogeneous teams, even without formal authority
Strong analytical abilities to structure complex topics, develop solution proposals, and prepare decision-making documents for senior management
Capable of maintaining effectiveness and decision-making ability in complex and dynamic situations
Profound knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams, along with excellent English and German language skills

Experience in the automotive or chemical industry
Familiarity with both product-oriented and production-driven company environments
Involvement in transformation projects, with a focus on change management and process optimization
Willingness to engage with new topics and explore innovative solutions
Hands-on experience in product start-ups, preferably with global exposure
