What You’ll Do

Summary: We seek a Machine Learning Engineer capable of driving AI development within our engineering scrum teams, contributing technically across the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Data Science, Data Engineering, and Software Engineering, with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Develop AI services from PoC to production.
• Design and implement Big Data pipelines for AI service data processing.
• Create AI/ML models to address real-world business problems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage data for business solutions.
• Operationalize AI PoCs with CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and MLOps practices.
• Own AI services during development and in production.
• Mentor junior team members and foster their AI engineering skills.

What You Bring

• Degree in machine learning, computer science, engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience with Distributed Computing Systems (e.g., Databricks, PySpark/Scala).
• Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
• Strong software engineering practices and experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of deployment tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD frameworks.
• Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Leadership experience in code ownership and team guidance.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn about new AI technologies.
• Excellent English communication skills; German skills are a plus.
