Your role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Technologist / Chemielaborant / GC-Analyst to join our team in the field of market sample analysis. In this role, you will analyze natural and synthetic fragrances in market samples using GC and GC/MS, support perfumers with basic fragrance formulae, maintain analytical equipment, and contribute to method development.

  • Conduct analysis of natural and synthetic fragrances in market samples using GC and GC/MS.

Develop basic fragrance formulae to support the perfumer's creative process.

Maintain and troubleshoot GC/MS systems to ensure proper functionality.

Perform sample cleanup processes on market samples.

Develop and optimize analytical methods to support fragrance analysis.

Manage and meet request deadlines for customer projects.

Provide analytical support for customer projects, ensuring high-quality results.

Interact with internal teams to collaborate and provide analytical support.

Document and present findings clearly and accurately.

Manage and prioritize requests to maintain efficient workflows.

About you

Completed education as Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant/in), CTA, or equivalent scientific/technical qualification

Several years of practical experience with GC and GC/MS in a laboratory setting, preferably in the field of fragrance, flavor, or related chemical industries

Sound knowledge of instrumental analysis and sample preparation techniques

Confident use of MS Office and analytical software (e.g. OpenChrom or comparable systems)

Proficiency in English and German , both written and spoken

Strong commitment, self-organization, and team spirit

High attention to detail, reliability, and a solution-oriented mindset
