We are currently looking for a Technical Project Manager Development & Prototypingfor our client Airbus HelicoptersDeutschland GmbH at the Donauwörth site. In this position, you will manage complex prototype projects – from technical feasibility checks and cross-functional coordination to hands-on implementation in helicopter manufacturing. The gross annual salary is up to €55,300, depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider applicants with a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa).

Job description

Tasks

  • Independent project management in a development environment – including interface coordination, timeline and cost control
  • Creation and commissioning of helicopter maintenance plans in accordance with PART145
  • Implementation and integration of modifications on prototypes and test platforms
  • Procurement of individual components and assemblies from internal and external suppliers
  • Participation in research and special projects, including in plateau environments
  • Review of technical documentation and construction files for feasibility and implementability
  • Providing design advice during early development phases
  • Coordinating interfaces between engineering, work preparation, production, quality, material management and flight test departments

Requirements

  • Completed technical qualification as a state-certified technician / business administrator in industrial mechanics or a university degree in mechanical engineering or business administration (minimum Bachelor level)
  • Several years of professional experience in manufacturing, production planning/control, and initial experience in the aerospace industry
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and initial experience with CATIA V5 and Google Workspace (G-Suite)
  • Fluent in German (at least C1) and advanced English skills (at least B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
