How will you make an impact?

As our Finance Manager, you will be part of the Finance team and report directly to the VP Finance & Legal. You will play a key role in financial planning and analysis, month-end closing, and budgeting processes. You will interact with department heads on ad-hoc analyses and KPIs, and proactively develop process improvements. The Finance team manages the company’s financial and legal affairs.

Some of your tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Act as a bridge between finance controlling and FP&A activities.
  • Manage monthly closes, compliance, forecasting, budgeting, and business partnering.
  • Create and prepare management and investor reports, including variance analysis and commentary, and support board meetings.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team during month-end closing to ensure accuracy.
  • Develop and enhance financial models for FP&A.
  • Lead budget and business planning cycles, focusing on cash and liquidity forecasting.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and collaborate on KPIs and P&L analysis.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support management decisions.
  • Work with the BI team to develop financial dashboards and map data analyses.
  • Support digital transformation projects to automate processes.
  • Assist with financial statement audits.

Our expectations of you

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Financial Controlling or FP&A, preferably in a SaaS company.
  • Knowledge of German GAAP/HGB.
  • Experience in automating and improving financial processes.
  • Strong financial modeling and accounting skills.
  • Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or scale-up environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience with DATEV or similar software.
  • Remote work is possible; regular presence in Berlin at least three times a week is required.
