Responsibilities
- Plan, analyze, and manage the investment budgets of the Marine Systems group, including variance analysis and measures for closing gaps.
- Responsible for the annual budgeting of investment funds.
- In collaboration with Quality Management, prepare and conduct regular economic and risk-oriented investment audits, as well as ad hoc audits in the domestic and international subsidiaries of thyssenkrupp Marine Systems.
- Identify and assess significant commercial risk areas and control processes for compliance with guidelines and corporate tasks, evaluate audit results, derive measures, and monitor their implementation.
- Create ad hoc analyses and evaluations, conduct profitability analyses, and assess business cases.
- Participate in projects internally and at the group level, supporting strategic development of controlling.
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Several years of experience in controlling within an international corporate group in shipbuilding, plant engineering, or mechanical engineering.
- High affinity for numbers, resilience, and excellent skills in condensing and visualizing commercial contexts related to internal control systems (ICS) and guidelines.
- Ability to act decisively under time pressure and work independently.
- Strong communication skills and team spirit.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
