Responsibilities

1. Plan, analyze, and manage the investment budgets of the Marine Systems group, including variance analysis and measures for closing gaps.
2. Responsible for the annual budgeting of investment funds.
3. In collaboration with Quality Management, prepare and conduct regular economic and risk-oriented investment audits, as well as ad hoc audits in the domestic and international subsidiaries of thyssenkrupp Marine Systems.
4. Identify and assess significant commercial risk areas and control processes for compliance with guidelines and corporate tasks, evaluate audit results, derive measures, and monitor their implementation.
5. Create ad hoc analyses and evaluations, conduct profitability analyses, and assess business cases.
6. Participate in projects internally and at the group level, supporting strategic development of controlling.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
• Several years of experience in controlling within an international corporate group in shipbuilding, plant engineering, or mechanical engineering.
• High affinity for numbers, resilience, and excellent skills in condensing and visualizing commercial contexts related to internal control systems (ICS) and guidelines.
• Ability to act decisively under time pressure and work independently.
• Strong communication skills and team spirit.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
