Junior Fullstack Web Developer

Our client develops a leading online comparison platform in Germany. The department specializes in offering various provisional insurances.

The hiring team helps customers compare and choose the best options for retirement planning and personal risk protection such as life, disability, and pension insurance. By combining expert advice with user-friendly digital tools, the team ensures tailored solutions that fit individual long-term financial needs.

Type of contract : Permanent onsite

Tech Stack : Typescript, C#, React, .NET, Jira, Confluence, Slack, and many others.

Your Responsibilities :

1. Be a key player in driving the digital transformation of insurance and financial processes in Germany.
2. Drive the technical engineering of new features and business models in close cooperation with product managers and quality assurance.
3. Help the team enhance their .NET Core and REST microservices.
4. Scout and implement new technologies to improve product quality and development efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
• Initial experience in modern web development (Typescript / React) or backend development (.NET / C#), gained through internships or student activities.
• Familiarity with clean code principles like SOLID, KISS, and YAGNI; practical application is a plus.
• Some experience with unit and integration testing.
• Teamwork skills and eagerness to learn are essential.
• Very good spoken and written English (C1); German language skills are a plus.
