The German Golf Association (DGV) promotes, organizes and regulates the practice of golf in Germany in all its forms. With around 687,000 registered golf memberships at German golf courses, the DGV is one of the sports associations with the largest number of members in Germany.
Our IT department supports the DGV members, around 830 golf clubs and golf course operators networked via the DGV intranet, in the area of information technology and coordinates the electronic exchange of information and data. It also provides the uniform DGV ID card, among other things.
To strengthen the IT team in the Wiesbaden office, we are looking for you with immediate effect as
Employee for IT support / DB analyst (m / f / d)
- You will be responsible for monitoring the DGV intranet operation - using DGV's own developments - as well as regular database analyses using MYSQL Workbench.
- You will provide competent and courteous support to DGV members when using local club administration systems for data transfer to the DGV intranet.
- You will also be responsible for member administration using the DGV's own database system.
- You will carry out cross-departmental technical tasks - with the creation, evaluation, support and maintenance of SQL databases.
- You will also provide 1st and 2nd level telephone support for the DGV infrastructure, the DGV intranet and connected third-party systems.
- Last but not least, you will provide support in quality management and software acceptance.
Your profile :
- A degree in computer science or applied natural or engineering sciences, alternatively a comparable professional qualification
- Very good IT skills, practical experience in database systems (preferably MySQL), data modeling, network administration, open source software and expertise in database-supported websites, web apps and similar areas
- Basic knowledge of SOAP, GraphQL, GitHub and Jira
- Experience in project management and analyzing complex workflows and process chains
- Communication skills and team orientation
